Confluence and Cafe Clock Collaborate…..
bringing together photography and Storytelling at the cross-cultural venue in Marrakech

At the beginning of October 2018 Confluence launched a photographic exhibition, kindly hosted by the team at cross-cultural venue, Cafe Clock in Marrakech, Morocco.

The opening night kicked off with mint tea, Moroccan sweets and spellbinding storytelling performances from Masters in Morocco and Scotland, followed by more excellent tales from Norwegian storytelling team StorySquad. The evening was unforgettable with so many wonderful stories told in English and Darija. At the end of the night the Cafe Clock team of storytellers entertained us even more with traditional Moroccan dancing and singing!

The exhibition of over 30 framed photographs includes works by Confluence photographers Houssain Belabbes, Ali (Abdelaali Ait Karroum) and Laura Hudson Mackay and goes on until the end of December 2018.

All works included in the exhibition are for sale and taken from the recently launched Confluence Book: Celtic and Arabian Visions and Stories. Copies of the book are on sale at Cafe Clock until the end of December.

If you haven’t been to Cafe Clock, Confluence highly recommend a visit. It is a really great meeting place, the food is delicious and the storytelling nights are magical. Storytelling evenings take place on Monday’s and Thursday’s from 7pm.
