The Sidhe heard the news, saw the images, she could not believe her ears, she listened again and memories came flooding back to her....it was a warm evening, the mountains rising dark around her against a purple starlight sky. She was on a roof top with people sitting in a circle, a tajine in front of them, they had finished eating, and the singing and clapping began.
She looked out over the edge of the roof top and saw the glowing lights of the other houses in the village. They did not see her, she was a sliver of light, a shadow on the wall. All gone? It was September then and the evenings were warm but as winter comes the snow will fall, what will happen to the people of the mountains, then? The Sidhe rubs her arms and shivers at the thought. What can be done ? How can I help? That beautiful green book full of stories and photographs... Confluence The World... they could sell the books and photographs and give the money to help the people of the High Atlas. The Sidhe fluttered a photograph down, one of a light casting shadows on the wall, just as she had seen, and it landed at the feet of a Confluence member ”Ah, that’s a great idea why don”t we have a Pop-Up Exhibition?”
